I wanted to send a personal note to say thank you to you and your team for hosting us at Penpol House last week. As a family get-together celebrating some big birthdays it was the perfect venue to enjoy all catching up and exploring magical Mevagissey.

From sitting in the sunshine on the fabulous terrace overlooking the harbour and exploring the beautifully kept garden to cooking in the well stocked kitchen and relaxing by the open fire and then sinking into the comfiest beds at night, Penpol House had everything we needed for a glorious week of relaxation.

The location was perfect to stroll into Mevagissey and sample all the brilliant independent shops, cafes and restaurants (so dog friendly too!) and to explore nearby Fowey and the stunning walks along the coastal path with the promise of a soak in one of Penpol’s roll top baths afterwards

The little touches were lovely, a delicious Cornish cream tea when we arrived, luxurious complimentary toiletries and some dog bones for our furry family friend Buster were all much appreciated.

We look forward to hopefully visiting again soon and maybe seeing Mevagissey at another time of year.

Just a short note to thank you for a wonderful stay at Penpol House last week..we all had the most wonderful time, the weather was kind to us and we had a wonderful welcome from the pubs and restaurants of Mevagissey.

Our young springer Bodie had a brilliant time in the gardens and the house…he particularly liked the sunrise by morning and the wood burner by night.

We will be back again…thank you!
