Pizza Gazebo
When the original greenhouse became unsafe, we had to replace it and found, when it was demolished, the site had wonderful views across the sea. The decision was quickly made for the new greenhouse to be built in the vegetable garden and a large terrace and generous herb garden created on the old site. Then we decided to add the pizza gazebo.
Our pizza gazebo, just a few short steps from the house, is the perfect place for casual outside dining. The woodburning Morsoe oven cooks delicious pizzas – something the children will love – and adds that subtle smoky aroma to grilled food. With 20 bar stools, everyone can gather to enjoy al fresco eating with a fabulous view across Mevagissey village, the sea and surrounding rolling green fields.
But you don’t have to cook there: morning tea as the sun rises is a very special experience for early birds or later enjoy coffee while watching the boats and activity in the harbour. Evening drinks are more fun when taken in a different location and here you can get the all the pleasure with none of the effort. And, conveniently placed by the herb garden, there are delicious herbs like mint or borage to add to your Pimms and cocktails.
